Imposter syndrome isn't entirely a bad thing

I started to reflect on myself and question whether I was being too harsh on myself, or whether the problem was not me but the environment I was in. Through the session, I realized that maybe imposter syndrome is not entirely a bad thing. The other side of me is still me: the part that keeps pushing me forward to become better. It was more of a mental shift. I now focus on my strengths instead of constantly comparing myself with others, because I believe everyone moves at their own pace.

AI as a second brain for reflection and ikigai

I started using AI as a second brain to reflect, organise my thoughts, and gain better clarity in my decision-making. The session also encouraged me to explore my Ikigai and better understand my strengths, interests, and purpose.

He got me into AI, and I can never go back

Edmund really invests alot of time in upskilling himself and making sure whatever knowledge as skill sets is up to date and relevant so that he can pass over the knowledge to people. He goes above and beyond in providing value to people. Infact he was the one who got me into AI,and I can never go back,he would teach me how to use AI effectively a to z and even for my work which changed everything.

Finishing a task isn't the same as doing it well

Edmund taught me that finishing a task isn't the same as doing it well. During a hackathon we did together, I watched him go above and beyond even on small details, like the video presentation and editing, things most people would consider 'good enough' and move on from. That stuck with me. Now I push myself the same way, going beyond what's asked to make sure what I deliver actually adds value.

Success isn't just knowledge — it's action and momentum

Edmund taught me to think beyond my own limitations. He reminded me that success isn’t just about having knowledge it’s about taking action, meeting inspiring people, and creating opportunities instead of waiting for them. That’s a mindset I carry with me now.

Seize opportunities even when you doubt your ability

Edmund taught me to seize every opportunity that arises, even in the absence of confidence in one's ability to perform well. I now consistently endeavor to exert my best effort and treat these opportunities as learning experiences, acknowledging that at the very least, I have attempted to push myself beyond my comfort zone.

Broke my limiting beliefs when I started my business

He is such an uplifting guy. When you are around him, you can feel it. He makes you feel like you can do anything, achieve all you want and NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. He has helped me to break limiting beliefs when I just started out my business. Also super smart guy and he gets things done reliably, and creatively. The platform he built is simple, clean, and easily understood. Someone to rely on. He is the guy you look for to improve yourself, your system and your goals!

The gap

Your team has AI accounts.
Your team doesn't have AI workflows.

That gap isn't a tools problem. It's a training problem. Everyone can open ChatGPT. Almost nobody knows what to point it at in their actual work.

What I think

Three things about AI training
you don't hear enough.

  1. 01

    Slideware isn't training.

If nobody leaves the room with something they can run on Monday morning, nothing happened. Every session I run ends with a working artifact — not a deck.

  2. 02

The best AI teachers are still shipping.

The moment you stop building, your teaching goes stale. I train the same week I ship. What you learn from me is what I just used yesterday.

  3. 03

    Teams don't need more prompts.

They need to see AI think alongside them on their real work. Prompt libraries collect dust. Watching AI solve your problem sticks.
