Fintech Student Council — President

SIT | 2024

Led the student council for SIT's Applied Computing (Fintech) course for the full 2024 academic year.

What the Role Involved

• Planned and ran welfare events for the cohort — including welfare pack giveaways to give students a breather during exam periods
• Organised Fintech-related workshops to bring industry context into the course community
• Led orientation for incoming Fintech freshmen — their first touchpoint with the course community

The council represents the student voice for the programme. As President, the buck stopped with me on whether the cohort felt supported and connected.
